makes sense since my interior heating is nice and toasty. I didn’t get a chance to drive it around, i was idling for about 20 minutes and it hit the first mark on the cluster gauge and didn’t go up from there. Thanks for the useful tips!!

UPDATE!! replaced the coolant temp sensor up top and bingo. Getting the gauge to the middle feels great! Problem resolved.

you still need to replace all the plastic and hoses in your cooling system. also, would recommend getting a way to read actual temps. The needle will show middle of the gauge from about 150-230 degrees before it moves up, and 230-240 is already too hot IMO.

thank you! Yes, hoses replaced and bleeder/thermostat also. But good idea re actual values…I’ll drive it with my scanner on and turn on live data….
