Default Bump noise in front end of 99 Disco

I recently acquired a 99 Disco II with approx 100k miles on it. Looks to have been taken pretty good care of. I noticed as I accelerate (or decelerating) through about 25 mph I hear a bump noise coming from the right front wheel. Almost sounds like I'm running over a manhole cover. Any help or assistance in diagnosing would be greatly appreciated. Also I was told Ishould replace all the drive shaft ujoints with ones that have grease zirks. Presently some have them some don't.Did this model come from the factory this way?
Thanks for the advise.

yes it came from the factory like that, and you need to replace them fast. I wouldn't drive it until you figure out where your noise is coming from. You can spend $7000 after the driveshaft slaps everything out of your truck. Might also have a bad swivel joint on the passenger side. Have you ever serviced them?

Thanks for the info. I've replaced ujoints in trucks I've owned in the past. Are there any special tricks to replacing these and any recommendations for what kind is best? I've never serviced the swivel joints as I've only had the Disco a couple of weeks. Not sure about previous owner(s). Can you step me through checking this? Thanks!

Your truck doesn't have swivel joints, so you miss out on doing those.
Just change out the 2 u-joints in the constant velocity housing of the front drive shaft. If you have never done one beore, they are a little difficult. You can always save some money, drop the drive shaft, engage the CDL so you can drive the truck and drop the shaft off to be rebuilt at a local tranny shop.
