Default bumper modification

so since i just had to give an attorney all the money i had saved up so far this year, a new bumper is out of the question, but with the recent rain down here some playing in the mud was surely in order, the only problem is there are no recovery points on the front of my disco... so i made some... Size: 172.5 KB then we went and tested them... surprisingly the bumper is more stout than i though and they didn't rip it off... but if it does get torn off well then that is just an excuse to have to fab one up... i got some shackles under my desk that are goin on after work today...

There should have been a factory tow hook attached to the frame unless it was removed. There are also 2 tie down loops on the front frame which do not work as a recovery point.

Nice.

LMAO! that little puddle didn't look that deep! Just goes to show how important it is to check those with a stick first.

I'm still laughing. funny.

That's the kind of thing I want to do with my bumper. I want to get rid of the plastic and replace it by steel corners and a skid plate for the track rod.

yeah my truck alread has a skidplate so there are no factory recovery hooks, so the couple times i had gotten stuck in the past i had to pull from my skidplate which i really dont like doing... so these work nicely...
