Get it, paint it and fix it up, then sell it to me for $250! I need an excuse to go on a road trip up north!

I've seen quite a few people asking about putting a D1 rack on their DII so I'm sure you can work a trade eventually.
Putting a D1 rack on a D2 poses no problems, just looks, but the "other" way around, the D2 rack is to long for a D1........however, I personally would still buy it, and then sell it on to double your money, or advertise it for a swap, im sure there are D2 owners with D1 racks on them, ................$150 its peanuts for an SD rack.

Everything leans towards buy it and then sell it later.
Which I am thinking heavily.
Now just to come up with the $250 to buy the rack and drive up to get it.

Why not just cut it down and re-weld it? I would jump all over that. The closest one to me is going for $700.

I am seriously considering that.
I dont think it would be to hard to cut it down to size.
And for the price I cannot pass it up.

I was considering doing that with the expensive one. I would jump all over that one. As stated, you can put a D1 rack on a D2, but not the other way around...

You could buy it as a gift for me! That would work great for both of us. I have a D2 and you love look at racks.

That is a great idea.
You put it on your truck and I can come over to your house and look at your rack. LOL
