Default Buying a 99 Disco Trek

I am going to buy a 99 Discovery Trek, 58K on it now. Safari rack, Warn 8000i winch. Roof rack. Buying for 13.9K Just had a new front drive shaft and greaseable u joints installed.

Is there anything to watch out for? It looks like this is a good rover. The owner worked for the dealership for the last 5 or 6 years and all the maintenance was completed with proper markings from the dealer thru 52.5K service.

The 60K Service is coming up, anything to look out for?

The 60,000 K is way past due. It is supposed to be done every 60,000 or 5 years so plan on doing that asap.
You will be need ing new plug wires, don't use Rover wires, I would suggest you order a set of 8mm Magnacor wires. As part of the service, change all fluids completely and consider doing an engine flush and a induction cleaning to clear out the carbon.
Good luck with the new truck,
Mike
