Hey new to the site. Great stuff. I have a99 disco II V8 99000 miles. Recently the truck has went to pot. New water pump, starter and alternator redone. Now the a/c makes a howling noise when you turn it off. Had it looked at. Said maybe a compressor clutch or a bearing. Any ideas????? Also has anyone tried the slotted rotors?????? Pros vs. cons?????

 

You might want to give me a call, I can point you in the direction of a good guaranteed used a/c compressor.
Also I have been run DBA rotors and Kevlar pads for the last 60,000 plus miles.

Mike would this also be causing the a/c condenser fan to chirp and run constantly? What else has to be changed when you have the compressor changed?
