Default a/c, sunroof,windows don't work

Guys I have a 2004 w/ 55k. Started her tonight while being out and the a/c power would not come on. Same with Windows and sunroof. Drove for a little while but it was like a sauna. pulled over checked the fuses in the cabin. Everything looked cool. Started back up and everything worked. Got some dinner. Same thing on next startup, no love. sweaty ride home. Where do I begin? Thank in advance

Be a lot more specific, did you check each of the fuses, how about the ones in the engine compartment?

Mike, I sure did and everything was fine. A few months ago my mirrors were burning through fuses but that has stopped. I started her up a few time yesterday. The first time the a/c unit had no power but the windows and sunroof were working. Next time the a/c worked as well. My thoughts are something is either loose or on the way out. I can handle loosing one or the other but when they both go out

Sounds like one of your fuse blocks is fried.

Check the ground / earth on the fuse box first.

Update. Got in Battery was dead this morning and would not turn over. I replaced the battery and checked the alternator. The alternator is fine. Could this have been the cause?

After replacing the battery, what was the voltage at idle and at 2000 RPM's?
