Default Call me crazy but I talk to my Rover!

LOL if you must, but every long trip I tell my rover to take me there! Rub the top of the instrument cluster top case and go. Just like Lone Ranger and Silver! HAHAHA! My stupid tradition. I'm a photographer and all the time I haul tons of equipment all over the place from NJ to Florida, Nj to Michigan etc. some of the furthest destinations, etc. 100% job done. My passion and my Rover gets me there. Only trouble I had twice was the coolant hose and a reservoir nipple broke during some short trips but I got saved by the rain and filled up the truck with it by straining the water with my T shirt while filling up. Use my GPS to get to the nearest auto parts (NAPA) and bought a hose. That is why I'm paranoid and take backups with me on my roof rack including 3 gallons of Peak, coolant hoses and some quick drying epoxy. In winter, I got some heating, sleeping bag, canned stuff etc to survive 72 hrs in case get stuck during winter time. I have a convertible sleeper inside that fits me well. I'm short (5.61345) and I guess Rovers are made exactly for my size. LOL! I traveled over 140k miles with my Rover and felt great every single mile of journey. The last Disco with the classic style body and I loved it ever since I set my eyes on her. I know how it is to have a Rover and the struggle to maintain it. Its part of all the fun having one. Cheers!
