Default Calling Best4x4 - Imelda Rain

Hey Best, we all remember the pics of your yard from hurricane Harvey. And now you're getting hit by Imelda. How's it going?

It’s not pretty! In some places the flooding is actually worse than Harvey! I’m stuck in my neighborhood, but I am not flooding yet. I’ve got the 99 D2 with a snorkel & I will use it once again if an emergency comes up. Besides that it’s just dig in and be prepared for loosing power, water, and possibly flooding.

If it rains as bad as it did last night again this evening yep it will be all over at the Sands Rover Ranch. I can move the LR’s but I’ll loose my LR parts in the shop.

Praying the rain lets off! My neighbor already has a foot of water in their house.

Thanks for checking on me!! It means a lot

Getting worse sadly..... My LR’s will make it out without a scratch, but I’m not sure about my house.

3:00PM Update:

The heavy rain has stopped, I can hear air boats & motor boats all around me, but for the timing being the water level appears to have finally crested! If it stays like this I’ll be fine.
