Default Camping w/ the Disco

Went to Virginia to shoot a job and went camping with a friend the following day. Had a great time.

It was. No cellular service for 10 miles. I was suppose to tell my wife that I'll go camping and cant find any signal anywhere once I got there. Just learning more whats needed when camping that I can fit in a disco. It was a great experience. cheers!

Looks like a nice time.

Yep, had the same cell issue when l went to southern Ohio wheeling last fall. Got about ten miles from the state park and lost signal. Knew my wife would be freaked out, but after weaving through those hills in the dark...there was no way l was driving back out to call her. Next day, she gives me the "l was worried sick". I tell her, there are three options..."either l'm dead, which there is nothing you can do about"..."or l'm fine"...or l'm alive and being held hostage and tortured" Truth be told...l probably shouldn't have mentioned option three...lol.

And yes, learning a little bit more on each camping trip is always fun part of the camping experience.

Whereabouts in VA? Looks pretty close to my neck of the woods.

Your wives need to relax a bit, my wife only starts to worry after 24+ hours of no cell and no APRS pings. But given I lose cell coverage 20 minutes from home and it is marginal after that maybe she is just used to it.
