can 35" tires fit on a 2004 discovery?

 

Yes but you're talking full blown expensive mods to the steering, driveline, gears, and also fender cutting.

This aint no Jeep. You dont need 35s, you'll be fine with 32 or 33.

Thats the reason I'm checking hear I dont know to much about theise vehicles I'm used to f250's and 35" ssr super swamper radial's

 

you will need corrective radius arms, hd axles, hd shafts, 5" of lift, extended brake and ABS lines, a mess of steering components, disconnect the sway bars, and probably a half dozen other things.... as posted before, unless you plan on doing some serious crawling you wont need 35's.

 

It won't make your dong any longer either.

 

How long have you had this D2, what sort of trails are you planning on and how much TRUE wheeling experience do you have? 35"s first of all will cost you somewhere around 3 plus MPG plus as already mentioned around $3500 in mods to handle the tire.
Disco's don't need this to be great off road so consider no larger then a 285 plus mods.

 

i dont yet have a discovery im at this time looking into this type of truck i know the wheel base is shorter so it wont have to sit as high as my f250 to get to my hunting camp we have a creek to cross to get to the cabin and the one bank is fairly steep im tired of having a pickup and reaserching this as my next vehicale and i dont care about the mpg's p.s. im not looking to do a pile of mods i guess im just looking to find out how big of a tire i can put under a stock vehicale to fill the wheel wells and not be grabing body panels ,frame or suspention parts every time i make a turn

 

Biggest stock is 31"

With a 3" lift ($800) you can fit 33".

I bet a stock Rover could cross that creek no problem.

 

I don't think this particular tire is a 35", but I would say you could easily fit one or two on the Discovery. I just wouldn't put a 35" tire under the Discovery.
