Default Can anyone tell from these pictures if this is a slipped sleeve or a blown head gaske

Hi, after a couple of months of doing other things, my son and I have finally cracked open the patient: a 2004 D2 that was given to my son by one of his friends' fathers, who was told by his mechanic that it had suffered a slipped sleeve as a result over a severe overheating incident.

The heads are off, and the wall between cylinders 2 and 4 look suspicisious.

Before I rig up a pressure testing setup, I was wondering whether there is anyone out there that can discern from the following pictures of the state of the mating surfaces and the cylinder dome whether this D2 has suffered a blown head gasket, a slipped sleeve or something else?
