Default Can I Use OME Sport Shocks With Stock Springs?

Let me state up front that I cannot lift my truck. I have a sub-height garage door and I only have about 1.5" - 2" to work with above my truck's current height, and my wife has made clear that leaving the Disco out of the garage is out of the question....which also means a 2" lift and bigger tires are out of the question.

Money is not an object, though, and I'm willing to spend the money on quality parts to re-do the old, sagging suspension on my truck. Currently, it looks to be about 1" low over original OEM condition. My thought is to go with stock Land Rover springs but I want good shocks to go with it. I know I can go with Bilsteins but I think I can find as good or better for less money. Just because I have the money doesn't mean I want to forget about value. I like the way OME Sport shocks ride, but I've only sampled them when coupled with OME springs. If I'm not mistaken, OME shocks are not oversized ... they are stock length. Can anyone confirm this and confirm that I can use OME Sport Shocks with stock LR springs? If not, what about the Terrafirma shocks?

I think by restoring my rig to stock height with Land Rover springs and adding 245/70R16 tires, I'll be right about 1 1/2" taller than I am now, which is going to be a very tight fit in my garage, but manageable.

They will work fine with a stock suspension and will give you a lot more control.

Take the roof rails off and you should be fine!

They will fit just fine. In my experience they will be a little bit stiffer than stock, which is good or bad, depending on what you like. I like it better than the stock ride but you do feel more of the small stuff.

Or cut two small grooves into your garage entry so the roof rails clear.
