Default Cheap source for OME shocks/springs????

My buddy is looking to add OME shocks and springs to his Disco II. Anyone know of an inexpensive source? I bought mine from Atlantic British and with shipping the bill topped $700. I'm sure there's a better deal out there.

By the way, I went with the medium springs. Anyone out there with the HD springs? How is the ride?

Call Tony at Cerrones, tell him Mike suggested you call for OME prices. I beleive it is safe to say he has the best prices on line for all the OME coils, shocks and stabilizers.
As for your question about spring selection, most of us who want a smooth, controlled ride and play hard off road, usually go to the HD selection, 751 coils in front and 762's in the rear along with OME's HD shocks. If you are going to run a bumper and or winch, you especially want to go this way.
Send me your e-mail if you have any question on what it will look like and I will send you a couple pictures of my D2 with this lift.

Thanks again, Mike. I just sent Tony an email. I think my buddy and I will do the switch-a-roo and I'll give him my medium springs for these HD springs he's ordering. I decided to add an ARB bumper. I'm trying to gear up for a trip to the San Juan mountains next month.

Thanks again

So how much of a lift are you looking for, do you have a winch and or bumper?

I've had to re-design my original idea of what I wanted. I'm after 2-3" of lift with a reasonably tame ride. My Jeep rides like a lumber wagon and I'd rather not have that feeling on my Disco. I do plan on adding an ARB bumper with winch. So, I'm headed for the HD springs. My bud will take my Medium springs. Someone told me I'd have to get new brake lines with the HD springs. That can't be. Right?

That is not right, you don't have to change the brake or ABS line as long as you stay at 3"s or less.
Want to see a couple of picture what it will look like?
