Just corresponded with the tornado folks. I have also been in contact with a couple of companies that offer the service, to get their opinion. Very minimal gains can be had with the tornado chip, unless you do a buttload of other work..... Open up intake/exhaust and such. With all of that done it will help in getting rid of the flat spots in torque throughout rpm range and maybe possible 10-12% gains. About 5-700. Send the computer to them.
The downside in my opinion is that you would have to get it done again if ever you do other performance work like a cam change. But on the less adaptive management systems, I would probably go for it, after all other performance work. Not on Bosch though
