At the end of the day, anything is only worth what someone would pay for it. Looks like in this case, the cool factor was worth around $12k. I'd say that's still high for a salvage vehicle, but not crazy wasteful.

At first glance, I thought it looked pretty cool. Very "well i'll just MAKE myself a Defender then!" kind of build, but you can't turn around and ask a Defender price for it....

The closer you look at the high res shots, the more you can see the lines aren't crisp. It looks pro at 50 ft I'm sure, but if you got up next to it, especially inside, you'll see it's far from looking like a custom shop order. I still think it looks cool all around. I saved a pic of it for my Land Rover pictures folder. I'm sure if I saw it in person though, as the perfectionist I am, I'd see just how far from 30k it's actually worth.

If this was just some "Hey looked what I built!" thread, I'd say d**n good job!, but the fact they are trying to sell it for the price of... well you could get about a dozen Discos for that price....
