Well?

Should I try replacing the charcoal canister air filter?

Or the evap canister itself?

Mm $65 sure as hell beats $300 for a new one. But is this repair to start with? Would you go with the air canister first?

Is it possible that my replacement purge valve is defective? Considering my codes went away for a few weeks and then came back. I bought it used for $40 bucks. Does it take that long for the ECU to detect a problem? I'm not always one to cheap out on parts but money's tight right now.

Okay so I guess I've developed a plan for a repair.

Since it sounds like the code reoccurence maybe do to another faulty purge valve I will replace that first. The P0441 represents both the purge valve and cvs faults. Since I have a dmtl system, I don't have a cvs unit, therefore it must be the purge valve.

If that fails, I'll try the air filter canister. If that fails, then EVAP canister or leak detection pump?

I figure I'll from least to most expensive.
