Can't believe I'm asking this question... is Lucky 8 legit?

Will not buy parts from them due to too many crap parts, poor shipping timelines and terrible communication. Website sucks too which never helps.

I have never had an issue over the last several years, communication has been good and shipping times strangely quick. Agreed the website is not great, but it seems like they are Rover enthusiasts, not website enthusiasts.

Been just as fortunate or unfortunate with them...as l have been with any of the other US based companies l've used. I've not ordered much from Lucky 8 of late...they are not well versed in Defender 110 parts. At least they throw a sticker in with each order. I've placed orders with Rovers North north of a grand (and several in $500.00 range)...and they can't drop a two dollar-free advertisement for them sticker in with the order?

So happy to see it’s not just me that is annoyed when I order a ton and don’t get a sticker from RN or AB

I am so conflicted on recommending Lucky8. I mean their pre sale services are excellent. I get responses sometimes within hours or at worst in a day. They aren't always the most accurate answers but an answer none the less. Their service after ordering still sucks. They are still the slowest business I've ever delt with fulfilling an order. Like right now I ordered 2k worth of stuff on the 22nd. As of today no communication and the order still shows pending. I reached out to them and was told it would be another week or two before part of my order was in stock. But we don't have much of a choice at least for D2 after market parts so taking my whining as a grain of salt.

I had great experience with Lucky8. I email and ask about item I want they reply by the next day. I order and it arrives. I bought lift kits radius arms and other misc item. I recommend them. last order they said it would take few weeks to send I received email when they shipped and it arrived.
it has been very good and convenient to order from them. I will still order more but most big items I bought. If I get another Land Rover then I will have to buy more.
Sean is the person that always helps me.

Justin, Erik, and Sean with Lucky8 are great guys. I order stuff from them when I need it (Ebay store) and I have had zero issues.

I don't fully trust them, but they are one of the only sources for new cheap parts with a wide catalog.

When I ordered their extended sway bar links, the links arrived with 2 different lengths and part numbers, indicating one was front and one was rear. Lucky8 initially told me it didn't matter if I put them on the front or the rear, and had no idea that they had shipped two different part numbers.

Those links also began to rust after just 4 months.

This all said...I avoid Rovers North or British Atlantic. Super overpriced, and we all know OEM quality is often just as bad as aftermarket.
