This works, or you can vice up the lug nut on the round that recesses into the wheel and use a socket extension and a hammer to remove the cap. Saves a trip to the hardware store to get a bolt. Pictured here. I write in the post to use a 1/2" drive extension, but I believe it is actually a 3/8 extension that I used.

The Dorman parts are open ended

The Discovery 2 uses a different size lug nut and won't interchange with Discovery 1 or classic Range Rovers

****. i think you're right. they do take an acorn style but it has to have the flat seat, as well.

the one's i purchased are not open ended. but, won't work anyway due to not having a flat shoulder.
