Default Cargo Area Tool Box

Has anyone found a toolbox that fits well in the cargo area of a Disco I? I am thinking along the lines of a diamond plate storage box that is wide but short. I will measure and research on my own but thought some of you knowledgeable folks out there may have found a solution already.

Yup. I have the Tuffy storage box. They have them at AB, but I found mine cheaper on a Heep website. Though your D1 is a litle skinnier than the D2 it'll fit just fine. There's someone on here OKDiscoGuy, Landzu or AJH that has one in their D1. Here are some pics of my setup. It is bolted through the floor and the shelf unit is attached through holes on the side of the box.

I have the Tuffy box in my Disco I,, But I had to remove the subwoofer box from the back door.
The Land Rover dealer did have a door panel to replace the one with the cut out's for the box.
It was about $150 it just was not right with the holes.

If you dont mount the Tuffy box the handle on the Tuffy box will hit the door panel.

As a side note, the pocket that is next to the sub does not have any clearance issues.
