Default Cargo tie down question

I'm about to order materials for a drawer box and was going to use the factory tie down locations as anchor points. However, I was thinking that the d rings were bolted down with clearly visible hardware, tonight I realized that isn't the case.

So can someone tell me how they are attached, and if they are in fact bolted down, how do you access the bolts?

Thanks.

Lift up the carpet tabs that are half moon shape cut.

My carpet does not have any such tabs. I think you are thinking of the factory rubber cargo mat.

KK,

You will need to remove carpet or cut to expose the mounting hardware if you doubt it exists. Other options....web search or going to a bone yard to view.

“tabs” are there, although tab may be the wrong word. I have removed the tie downs before.
