Its kind of hard to diag a noise issue without hearing it...I have replaced many front d2 driveshafts pre detinated they kind of have a constant recipricating noise to them...it could also be a worn front dif assy,get the manifld fixed first hopefully that will be it

He says it makes the sound first thing when starting up and gets louder as he drives. I didn't mean to call you out on this one, but I didn't want the poster to freak out about a driveshaft yet....

ok guys... i am still nervous about the drive shaft, however the propellor sound is gone now with the new right side gasket. Wouldn't I feel power loss if the drive shaft was going??? She accelerates nicely and sounds strong like a good v8 should.
