I thought I would pass on a helpful hint to anyone looking for a CB for their Rover. I just picked up a Uniden PC78Elite refurbished from Uniden for $65. This is a top of the line radio with weather and amber illumination that normally sells for about $130.

 

how and where did you mount it?

 

Mounted on the back of the center console. Since it is a full size radio there's really not many other options in the Rover. It's pretty easy reach to adjust the volume and squelch. I have the mic hanger mounted on the passenger side of the console beside the tranny shifter so the mic is always in easy reach.
