Default cd changer

My factory cd changer is not working. I just recently bought this discovery.
When I load the cd cassette it tries to load but comes up w\ error message.
I've gone through all 6 discs and same message, tried to remove and reload, same result.
Any ideas on how to fix or do I need to take it to a shop. And should I go to my rover shop
or a "radio shop"?

Thanks in advance
Mike

Look and see if you have a auto radio repair center in your town, if not, go on line and do a Google for factory radio repair centers.

Default RE: cd changer

mine didnt have the cd changer in it, there was a transceiver for a car phone (back in the day). so i went to a car audio place and had them order a cd changer for it. they hooked me up with an alpine cd changer to put under the seat and the converter for it so that the radio will work with the changer. turns out they got the wrong converter, they got the AI-net converter, mine needs theMBUS converter to make it all work. so make sure if u go to a car audio place that they are able to obtain that MBUS converterbecause they are no longer manufactured. the guy had to special order one for me and he didnt charge me extra for it because im being patient... ok hope any of this information helps you.
