I put in the cd's in the Cartridge. placed then in the Changer, but when I press the Button it says NO CD. What can be the Problem. I used Compressed air & blew out the changer to remove all the dust.

 

Did you check to make sure the cd's are facing down in the cartarige? It has happened before? Trust me Ive done it. Factory changer? What year?

 

And whatever you do, don't get pissed and throw it away, cause the new one will do that same thing within a couple of weeks, and if your lucky, months.

Is the cartridge stuck in there??? when you put it in, does it check all the cds???

 

it is not stuck & it oes say CHECK all CD's & then it says NO CD

 

If there is just one cd facing the wrong direction it'll say that... I bought my truck used with no cartridge, bought one, loaded it up... it was saying, "no cd." Turned out the previous owner somehow jammed a cd in the player itself... removed that and it all worked...

 

I have tried everything -- anyone else can help me - I like the thought of a cd chabger , I wanna use it

 

I tried sticking in a CD-RW disc in & the cd changer said "NO CD" in that slot.

I figured out that these CD Changers don't read CD-RW formats.

It will read CD-R formats, but not RW.

I don't know if you're using a recordable disc.


That was my problem.
