I took mine out without removing the seat, may have to remove the plastic panel around the seat though

Regardless taking the seat out is pretty simple, you do need a fairly large torx socket.

so how do you go about taking out the seat to remove the cd changer?? or where is the reset button? it seems like one of my cd's is stuck out of the magazine and that is why I cannot get the changer out... any suggestions?

you don't have to remove the seat. there is however a long metal bracket holding it to the car. its on the inner side of the seat. that probably why its stuck.. maybe?

there are two normal bolts on the top of the seat pedestal towards the front of the seat, slide the seat all the way back and you will see one on each side, after you remove them slide the seat all the way forward and you will see two torx head bolts on the rear of the pedestal, they look like allen key bolts only pointy... remove those, and there you go, seats out of the way

you only have to remove the trim around the seat. it will provide you enough room to remove the cd changer. it took me 45 minutes to install my changer and I had to deal with really rusted screws.

best to do to a CD changer (what i did), in that order:
- carefully remove it out
- remove all CDs and check them for scratches
- put it in antistatic plastic bag
- THROW THAT 90ties garbage as far as you can, then jump on it three times, beat it with hammer and slice with chainsaw
- put MP3 player in
- be happy
