Yeah I never even thought of including a "how cdl works" section in my write-up, maybe I'll add it. I sort of figured that one would end up finding out how it worked before getting my set of instructions.

Spike, I manage my family's timber property in Mississippi and Alabama. I cruise it on the weekends to make sure nobody is cutting/hunting/burning/dumping and check for pine beatles, etc. Also try to keep the roads clear but got behind after Hurricane Katrina tore up everything.

Josh, did the electric switch/button thingy come with the kit? Did it include the cool mounting bracket that mounts where the coin tray is?

Thats a cool gig.
Hurricane Katria was a mother, hard to believe that we are still cleaning up after it.

The wife and I are going to do a trail clean up sometime this year.
It will be on public land, we will bring the trailer and just pick up trash left on the trails.

If u look at picture #3, it comes with ALL those parts. The kit is great for my type of wheeling, albeit there are parts that can fail making the shifter useless. Disco Mike has had the same kit for about 7 years and he has only had to replace a relay.

Spike, I don't know about a cool gig - i have a full time job already - this is my "family obligation" because I'm the only sane male left in it... and that's probably debatable.

Josh, can you get one that uses the manual shifter instead of the electronic gizmo? I'm old school (and all those pictures of wiring made me dizzy).

Of course! You can borrow Spike's shifter. LOL
Seriously, you can install a DI shifter, an 04 cable shifter, or check out www.lucky8llc.com for a hybrid cable shifter.
