I spilled some yucky stuff (my daughters melted cadbury cream egg!) on the black mat that goes around the gear shifter and CDl shifter and would like to take it off and wash it, but I am not sure how to pop the shift boot off for the CDL shifter. I got the trim ring off the tranny shifter just fine but not sure about that CDL boot. I hope someone can clue me in before I go breaking something while trying to figure it out myself!

Mine just popped off. Then you unscred the **** and it all comes off. Oh, and there is a guy on e-bay that sells new CDL and Parking brake boots. New leather. I am thinking about it, me brake boot is getting a little gross...
