ceiling leak...most likely sunroof?
#13
I've got the same leak it seems. When it downpours outside, I notice water in the passenger's sunvisor and map holder, as well as where the passenger's seatbelt connect to the door frame. I've also had water fall out of my rearview mirror at times.
It's crazy. My cloth on my headliner is beginning to become unattached, and hang down.
When I get the time, I'm going to explore the drain tubes and see what I can find. I'm not so sure I'm comfortable with removing the headliner.

vtec2403, removing the headliner is a lot of work, but i was able to help my husband with it and we got it out in about 30 minutes. make sure you have a friend help you though, because if you don't the headliner can crack and then you'll have a headliner that doesn't go back in properly. just take your time and don't let your disco smell your fear!!

I had a bad leak as well and thought it was the sunroof, but after checking that all out it was fine. The culprit was where the roof rails attached. Water would weep from under the foam type gasket that went in between the two. After tightening it it still leaked so I did a clear silicone all around the gasket on the outside and it has not leaked one bit. If you take your time it is clean and cannot be noticed unless you are looking for it. Good luck.
