Default CEL reset

anyone here know how to reset the computer check engine light. it gave me a code for the IAT sensor, saying the sensors temperature has been exceeded. The reason this could have happened is because i installed a new air intake and accidently disconnected the sensor, and while driving down the road..check engine light went on...so i figured out the sensor was disconnected..then i reconnected it...and the check engine light is still on. Anyway i can reset the ecm myself? Thanks guys in advance.

You will need to find a shop with a scanner capiable of clearing the codes. If the problem has been fixed, the CEL will stay of, if it is still haveing a problem it will recode.
Usually most shops will charge to clear the faults.
This is the only way to remove them.
