center diff
You can spend longer on removing the OEM rivets from the shifter plate than the actual install of the linkage takes!! Do yourself a favor and use like #14 1/2 screws vs rivets on the re-install! It’ll make any future repairs a beeeze.
I have installed a transmission/TC & a TC with the D2 sitting on all 4 tires! Just jacked up the D2 to roll out the parts! It can be done with a small transmission jack from Harbor Freight & hand tools. A lift is awesome, but not really required.

My local mechanic looked in his computer that tells him the labour to remove replace centre diff and it said 3.8 hours
he told me $350 cash
he charged me 300 cash to do my ball joint on the passenger side
