The ratio is calculated between the input shaft and the two output shafts. So turning the input shaft 10 complete revolutions, the output shafts will do just about 12 for a TC with a ratio of 1:1.211. But you can't do that with the TC in place.

BUT the ratio is written on a sticker on the side of the TC.

1) Isnt mfg std fix with a ratio? disco 1 LT230 and 2 LT230 got any diff in std gear ratio?
2) 2.5 Td5 and 4.0 disco has different auto transmission, what about transfer case between these 2 models? are they same?
3) HOw reliable overdrive is?
