Change t/case and diffs fluid and jacking up rear of Discovery II 2000
Okay, just to confirm, the t/case and both diffs take the same fluid...Correct? I read in another thread it is recommended put 85w/140 for all three. Does that sound right? Also, how many quarts should I buy to change all three?
what do you guys thinks about using Lucas high performance heavy duty gear oil, SAE 85w-140 for all three? I can buy it at Auto Zone for $7.99 per qt.

Finally, is it okay to jack up the rear of my 2000 discovery II by going under the rear differential/pumpkin?
thanks!

Yes, though I would use jack stands under the axles before I crawled underneath.
