Default Changed battery and won't start!

I already checked the SEARCH function but did not find my exact problem .

2000 disco 2
191k

installed a new battery and now it will not start: will crank but not start.
no blinking lights on dash
tried to reset the inertia switch under hood and reset alarm with key fob
no luck!
ran great until I removed battery (so IDK why it would be a sudden failure of the CPS).
all other electronics work fine (locks, stereo, etc).
battery connection is tight

HELP!

Disconnect the battery for 15 seconds, then when you reattach the positive cable make certain that it doesn't hit/miss as you are attaching (in other words, press it on hard and smooth without ever breaking the connection even briefly as you attach+tighten).

Then try to restart motor.

If the above doesn't reset everything and work, next notice that you have more than one red wire and more than 1 black wire going to your battery terminals.

Wiggle those. Inspect thoroughly for a cable break.
