Default Changed turn signal bulb. Not working now

I went and changed my left rear turn signal bulb today, and now it does not work. I even put the old one back in, which is not burned out, and it still does not work. It was working before I decided to change it. I thought the bulb was bad, because it wasn't as bright as the right side. I'm taking a road trip in 2 days, and need to figure this out. Any ideas?

Sounds like loose connectors in socket.
I'd take a small screwdriver or something and bend the connectors back out if needed and scrape the connecting surfaces clean.

I'll try that in the morning. The old bulb did have some corrosion on it.
