With the key in the door, if you turn it once, it locks/unlocks the driver's door. Turn it a second time it it operates the remaining doors. Does that work ??

All right, just checked my Rave cd and it says that your door lock/fuel pump cut-off switch located on the engine compartement passenger's side firewall (looks like a little rubber flashlite) needs to be reset. To reset it, you have to press the top of it downward and release.

Then go try it all again and get back to us.

If you key does need to be reprogrammed take it to the dealer, buying a new key wont fix it. Your remote and security ECU need to be re synced.
Sorry, but thats like $100. Even if you do buy a new remote you still need to spend the $100 to have it programed.

Well, I did reset the door lock/fuel pump cut-off switch in the engine compartment and it did not help. If I put the key in the door and turn it once (not twice), it locks/unlocks not only the drivers door, but all the doors at once. When I turn the key to lock it, the yellow hazard lights flash and the little red light starts blinking inside indicating the alarm is armed.

I did learn today though, that the dealer I bought it from had to replace the ignition because the key got stuck in the ignition and would not come out. Maybe that is the problem?

Then, I'd bring it back and ask them to fix it so it works as it's suppose to.
