Default changing brake pads on 03 disco?

okay, I'm ashamed to say I've never replaced brake pads in my life. I'd like to give it a shot this weekend on my 03 DISCO. I've read online that it's maybe a simple "pulling two pins, and sliding old ones out...new ones in." Is it really this simple? I'm going to pick up some pads at the parts store....anything else I should get while I'm there? Any tips will help.

Thanks,

Mike

First of all, do you have the pads, if so, who's brake pads are you using? How many miles on your truck? You will also need to bleed the brakes, have you ever done this?
Do you have a friend who is mechanically inclined, it might help to have someone there while doing your first set of brakes.

Mike,
no, don't have the pads yet. Found some "Wagners" at O'Reilly's Auto Parts---$71 front/$46 rear. I imagine they're not the best for my Rover? Bleeding the brakes is just taking some fluid out of the master cylinder, right? Yup, I'll bring a buddy on this job.
Thanks,
Mike

Maybe it would be good to talk before you jump into the ABIS.
If you would PM me with your tele Number, I'll call you and walk you thru the process.
