Changing front output on transfer case

Default Changing front output on transfer case
Have an '03 with a non-CDL transfer case and have located an '04 CDL unit. How hard is it to change out the output section? Is there a 'DIY' covering that operation here on the forum?

have you looked under "Write ups" , "How To's" , and "MUST Reads" there used to be a good one
