Charging issue
So a while back i upgraded my alternator to the 150 amp range rover alternator. So its been working fine fine for a while but lately my rover battery has been dying over night. I got the alternator checked by napa and they said its not putting out enough volts to charge the battery. long story short while pulling the alternator i found this.

What the picture doesn't show you is the amount of corrosion on the exposed wire.
How do i go about repair/replacing this?

Definitely! I would replace the whole wire. Often with burned up and/or corroded wires, it's best to just replace the whole thing. Usually the corrosion goes down the wire, under the insulation.
That's what happens when my Rover is running! LOL!!
Not meant to be a dig against NAPA (they're good at what they do but they don't have a big enough market for this) but when looking for new power and ground cables for my winch I found online sellers that custom-make cables to exactly the lengths I needed, with lugs to my specs.
Maybe a couple more days on the wife's bike. Does it have a wicker basket on the front?
