Just a quick point, if you have a D2 with ACE, then you have more articulation than a D2 with standard "sway" bars as you guys call them lol, Known as Anti-roll bars on the rest of the planet hehehe

Taking them off a D2 would make it rubbish on the road imo, thats one of the things that the D2 excells at.......The quick disconnects are the best option for a D2 imo......

urban is right, grab a spanner and put on some disconnects..leave your anti-roll bars on the front..then throw your camping gear in the boot...pop the bonnet to check the oil and hit the M5!

I've read removing the rear can be dangerous if your thing is high speed on dirt roads.
