Installed a motorad 180 and i'm very happy with this product!!My poor disco was frying!at 50 mph temp was 215, idle 220.Now i'm running 194 at 50 mph and 195 at idle for 30 min and the aux fan did not kick on,Also i had what sounded like a water pump chirp prior to the new thermostat install but that's also gone now!! Thankyou landrover forum!!!!!!!!!!

Only way to go is the 180 tstat. UG shows me constantly running at 194 or so and gets up to 198 when idling.

I'll probably go with AB, I need a seal for my front axle as well.
Ordered an Ultragauge to-nite, to.

isn't Land Rover Discovery II Replacement Thermostat at AB the stat? It does say they are out of stock, but they do sell it. We have had posts of guys buying this stat from Rimmer Bros in the UK and ship to the US for $100. Yep, they wanted it that much, and were pleased to get it.
