Default Checking Price

How does 10K for a 2002 SE Westminster Discovery sound, with 110K miles? I know the owner personally and he never took it off road all highway miles. Resposes will help determine what is a fare asking price

Default RE: Checking Price

I'd say so-so. Entirely depends on how well maintaned it has been. Did it get all the regular scheduled servicings? Did he replace things that by now should have been replaced?

I bought a 2002 SE with 58K on the ticker for about that price. It had all the records with it, but that still didn't keep me out of the shop where I was smacked for another $3000 in repairs.

To me, a Disco rookie who's learned much in 2 months, I'd say a "good deal" has almost nothing to do with the actual asking price. That $10k car could cost you another $5k in a flash.

That said...I wouldn't buy an 02 with 110k for nut'n.
