Default chime in about chime

yesterday, 40 miles from home, it started. The chime that comes with the over 20mph, your rear is in the air, sls.
I could not get it to come back on this morning....(and yes I spent the 180 seconds to get it up to speed )
I have not had sls un-learned/ erased from computer...(stealership) I also have not had the sls components on my truck for years. I have the "look at my rear bumper dash light"...only light I have.

so I started thinking. what if it is a different reason that it was chiming. like when your transfer case is not fully engaged in hi/lo.
is there any other reason, it would start with the chime? But it was most definitely an over 20mph chime.
that has got to be the ride height chime, right?

I don't want to have it come back. annoying!

Well, happened again. Pulled over disconnect battery and waited a couple minutes and gone. Still thinking ride height, but any input on a reason for chime that I might suspect?

I wish I wasn't going to be out of town for work during SCARR. I could reprogram your slabs computer for you.

Yeah Dusty maybe you will get lucky and someone at SCARR will have a Nanocom or Hawkeye. Or maybe you just no longer need to exceed 20mph.....just a thought.

Yeah, I absolutely refuse to go to dealer.
But you guys agree that it has to be ride height, right?
Nothing else really makes since, but weird it started years after sls removal.

If the chime was from the Transfer case then you should get the gear symbol on the dash. Are all your lights on the dash functioning? Just to be sure. Otherwise could be something shorting out on the ride height.

Yep, all working.. I guess I could have caused a short when I changed my compressor out on my sls ledge, but I have all those wires zip tied....

So we agree that no other possible causes, outside of tc and ride height? If that's the case, I'm sure it's the rh.
Thanks

Only other chime is the 3 Amigos and lights left on that I have heard. I'll do some more research and see what I can find. But sure sounds like the rh.
