Default Chirp noticed when going from R to D

Start to notice that when I go from reverse to drive (even at full stop) I heard a slight chirp along with the usual feel of the change. Best as I can describe it is a muffled sound similiar to when in Mario Bros for NES when you jump on a goomba. Normal aging, low/old fluid, other issue?
