Default A chirping sound when I turn right

My 2004 DII with 81k on it just starting making a chiping type sound when I turn right. It is only on the drivers side front. It only occurs when I am making a hard right, as in a pure 90* turn. I have not had a chance to get under it and look around (frickin' 20* here). Just put new tires on [TOYO open country at2's]. thought I heard it with the old rubber but not sure. Anybody have any thoughts?

Assuming you have rebuilt/replaced your front drive shaft, the only thing that can make that noise is a bad CV joint or brake pads moving around.

Mike- Have not done the front driveshaft yet, on the list. Will get into a warm space to pull the wheel and check the pads and CV joint. I know from you many post about the front drive shaft how important it is to replace, what is the corellation to the sound and the drive shaft?

Driveshaft makes a chirping sound when it's about to fail, then you eventually make a post on here looking for a new transmission/ vehicle.

ZG- Thanks for that motivating thought. Is it a constant chirp when it is about to fail or intermittent? Why is it I only hear it on the drivers side? If it blows up my vehicle I will not be looking for new parts, I will be donating this one to my local FD for extrication drills, then my local PD can have for target practice

Not sure what you are waiting for when it comes to the drive shaft, you want to possibly buy a new tranny when the shaft fails out on the road?

OK Gents I surrender to the new driveshaft brigade That being said whose shaft ( no pun intended) AB's, BPU's or Rovers North? Price difference is pretty significant.

Chirping only when turning won't be from the prophaft.
It will be either a CV or hub bearing.

AB's is a unknown unit from the UK, RN's is ProShaft(many on here have them) BPU's is Tatton's shaft, but you're forgetting Tom Wood's and Great basin's which are both great.
