cleaning top end parts

Default cleaning top end parts

i want to clean all parts of my top end, intake valve covers heads...

Should i have hot cleaned by machinest? i think they use something like a dishwasher but industrial or something. Bead blast? any suggestions?

You can have it cleaned, or buy a big can of Purple Power at Walmart and soak it in that. Note that Purple Power will mess up o rings and rubber parts, some plastics and resins, so use it on the metals parts only. It dissolved part of my crank position sensor cover!

Elbow grease and diesel or kerosene, no smoking (or drinking for that matter)

No drinking? well.... im out...I prefer to drink and watch someone else clean my parts....
