Default Climate control head bad bulbs?

Should all the buttons be lit up on the climate control head? At night on my unit, the POWER, AUTO, DEFROST AND RECURCULATE button are not. The buttons for the adjustment of the temp are not either.Seems odd but not sure if this is a design flaw or bad bulbs!

Thanks in advance!

probably bulbs, I believe you have to remove the radio to get the HVAC controller out, I know I did.

yes; they should light up.
the problem you have, if it is one, is you don't know if something caused them all to go out at the same time or the last owner just let them burn out one by one.
I would start with buying some bulbs

I think that you need two of these....
Bulb, Climate Control Head For Temp Control Switches; 2 Required (Genuine Part # 8510251) - Land Rover bulbs from Atlantic British
and 1 of these.....
http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/JWH100070G.cfm

first 2 are for the left and right red/blue switches and the single bulb is for the power, recirc, ext buttons.

Thanks to everybody for your help. It was the three bulbs that were bad. I checked with a volt meter and have ordered new bulbs!
