Default Clock Light

The illumination or backlight on my dash clock is not working but the clock works fine. So, two questions. Is there a bulb that can be changed and if so how do you get at it ? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks alot.

Yes there is a replacement bulb made for those. The clock assembly is held in with 2 small clips. I just carefully pried mine out and replaced the bulb which I bought from the dealer, some parts store may e able to get a bulb for you.

yes there is a bulb. you can get it at the dealer for like $3. all you do is use two thick business cards, not credit cards they are too thick. Slide one above and one below the clock and the door lock switch (they are one unit). There are tabs in there you wont really feel them but once you catch the tabs on top and the tabs on the bottom the clock will kind of come loose and slide right out. once its out just disconnect the harnesses for the door locks and the clock and you can flip the clock over and see the bulb in there. this is common.

Allright guys, I got the clock out and then the bulb. Called the closest dealer, Halifax, Nova Scotia, a mere 4 hrs away and was told that LR no longer carries this part. Will order from Atlantic British. Thanks again for the quick and accurate info. This place is great.

For replacing not only the clock but also for some of the bulbs for the climate control systems, I usedNeowedge
Item# Incandescent , Color: Clear , Lens: Type C (T5)$1.99 USD From autolumination.com
The only thing now is to figure out how to replace the bulb behind the door lock rocker switch...
