Clutch fan delete
Hello,
Has anyone attempted to replace the clutch fan with an electric alternative? If yes could you let me know how it worked out and if it was a painful install?
Thanks!
Miron

I have fans from an '05 GTO in mine using a Ron Francis AR99 Controller. Here is the thread on my saga which included a non-related overheating issue.
If you have any questions, just ask. I love the set up, but it may be overkill. The flex-a-lite and the Taurus fans both worked fine, but the GTO Fans give you the most cfm and radiator coverage without a custom shroud. I have it mounted with nuts and bolts to four aluminum brackets I have that hold it on to the radiator, wanted to braze them on, but could not execute that. I ain't ready for Motortrend Channel quite yet. I really do recommend a Ron Francis Controller, the AR99 will start the fans at different temps, but really, they could both come on at the same time. In really really cold weather I will spend some highway time with only one fan, but that isn't often at all. The Ron Francis Controller is beefy, has relays and is superior to the flex a lite.
