MY abs light came on my 1998 disco and i pulled code 1317 some thing about rough road. i read all the threads about the 3 amigos, but i only ave the abs light on. can anybody tell me whats the problem and how to fix?

 

D1's don't get the 3 Amigos. code is for a rough road line fault and should be delt with by a mechanic. How have your brakes been working?
If you don't want to spend the money, some people pull the fuse and just shut the system down, you'll have regular brakes, just no ABS.

 

breaks work fine. I can turn wrenches, so i would rather fix it my self. not having abs is no big deal.

 

Try pulling the fuse and see what you think.

 

I will give that a try, but still would like to fix it if i can.
